Bagpipes

I covered our local Relay for Life event tonight, and the sky and bagpipes caught my eye.

I was going through some files on my computer tonight, and came across a few of my old photos from my missions trips to Romania with "For God's Children International." These are a couple that I like from my files.

I'm still learning...

Okay, so I wasn't too successful in uploading photos with my first post, so I'm going to try it again. Since this is new to me, and a new blog, I think I'll (try) upload a photo from when Jackson was new -- 3 days old to be exact. In this photo I'm holding my little man's hand. It's amazing how tiny he was, yet how perfect every part of him was.

Jackson

My first post. I think it's only appropriate to introduce you to the newest member of my family. Jackson was born on Jan. 29th of this year weighing in at a whopping 1lb 9oz. He was about 3-1/2 months early and is still in the hospital.

Today he weighs in at about 6lb 5oz, and is doing pretty good. He has some hurdles to get over yet before coming home, and it'll probably be awhile before he can come home, but he's getting there. I'm attaching some photos I made of him today in the hospital. Enjoy!
